The company also needed that solution to integrate directly with its TMS, MercuryGate, so planners wouldn't have to switch between systems.
- **Opportunity** – Working with technology partner Redwood Logistics, the geosynthetics leader connected Opendock directly to MercuryGate in just two weeks, requiring no technical resources on the customer's side. The integration automatically feeds appointment, arrival, and departure data into MercuryGate, keeping every team on one platform without double data entry.
- **Results** – With Opendock integrated into MercuryGate, the company moved off first-come, first-served scheduling entirely, reducing wait times and delays for carriers. The integration also surfaced carrier performance data, including average cost per load, that the team used to build out carrier scorecards, while eliminating the need for warehouse operators to switch between systems.
